Discovering the beautiful aspects of Lefkada, we suggest you the following:
Marina Lefkadas’, considered to be one of the largest and most organized in the Mediterranean, ideal for walking at the sunset.
You can also visit the “Faraggi tis Melissas”, which is situated in the former municipality of Sfakiotes, 6 km outside of the main town. There you will reach the Melissa spring, where you can rest and have a cold drink of crystal-clear water.
Another interesting place to visit in Lefkada are the Waterfalls in Dimosari, located near Nidri. Daily excursions are available on small boats departing from Nidri to Scorpios and Meganisi.
Vasiliki, on the south coast of Lefkada, is an ideal place for wind surfing. Nearby you will find other small villages including Sivros and Agios Petros. From Vassiliki you can visit the cape of Lefkata with the steep white rocks that cause awe. You can also organize day trips from Vassiliki to “Agiofili” beach
by taking one of the small boats that depart every two hours, or travel by ferry to Kefallonia and Ithaca.
Almost 8 km far away from our villas you are able to visit the traditional mountain village of Karya, with its special features, amazing-handmade crafts and delicious food in traditional taverns.
