Spectacular beaches with white sands and crystal clear turquoise water are the prime feature of the island. Lefkas’ beaches are considered among the most beautiful beaches in the entire Mediterranean.
Kathisma, Agios Nikitas and Mylos are beaches nearby our villas. Specially Kathisma is undoubtedly the most famous organized beach of Lefkada. It is the ideal combination of white sand with the blue-turquoise colour of the sea. If you wish to try “paragliding”, is a unique experience.
Kavalikefta, Megali Petra and Kalamitsi are also very nice beaches almost 10’ away from our villas.
On the west coast of the island, the famous Porto Katsiki Beach is voted by international tourist magazines as the most beautiful beach in the Mediterranean. A little further north of Porto Katsiki are Egremni and Gialos.
In the southern area of the island lies Vasiliki and Ammousso. Between these two places, you will find Agiofili, which can be easily accessed with a small boat. Vasiliki is an ideal place for wind surfing. At the same time, on the southern side of the island, the picturesque fishing harbor of Sivota, is mainly reached by sailing boats. The beautiful taverns around the beach serve delicious fresh seafood.
East of Lefkada lies Nydri, one of most developed and popular touristic town with view off the island of Scorpios and Madouri. On the way to Nydri, you will find Nikiana and Lygia, sandy beaches without waves, ideal for young children.
Aghios Giannis and Gyra, beaches suitable for families, are nearby from the center of town-Lefkada. On the extension of Ai-Giannis beach you are able to reach Mylos beach, popular for kite surfing.
